3 Keys to Making Your Dreams Happen

Monday, January 19th, 2009

Are you a dreamer? Do you have a desire to do something great with your life? Do you have unique talents and gifts that you long to share with others? If so, then take your hand right now, tap yourself on the shoulder, and shout “Tag! I’M IT!”

That’s right! You’re it! You are responsible for making those dreams happen. No one else is going to do it for you. Not your boss, your co-worker, wife, husband, father, pastor or friend. You and you alone are responsible for making your God-given dreams a reality.

Too many of us surrender our dreams to others, chance, or the direction of a passing wind. For some reason, we are trained to think that dreams just somehow happen or that they can only happen if someone takes us under their wing and guides us on to our ultimate destiny.

Yet, the bible itself is power-packed with verses that tell us that we indeed have the power and the ability to do our dreams. It holds us completely accountable for what we have been given and it reassures us that God himself is enough. He will accomplish his dream in us if we just believe.

Self-help and success books are constantly prodding us to believe this truth. Titles like “Take Control of Your Life!”,” If It’s Going to Be, It’s Up to Me!” and “The Power of Believing” are just a few of the wonderful books on the market that support us in making our dreams a reality.

Nothing is going to happen if we do not take the initiative to make it happen. Here are 3 keys you can apply today to make your own personal dreams a reality.

1) Stop whining and start working! If you find yourself whining about the fact that your dreams are just not happening or that no one is taking you under their wing and guiding you to success – stop it! Remember, the cure for “E”motion is in the word itself. Drop the “E” and you find the answer – “motion” Motion, is always the key to dealing with emotion.

2) Believe and receive! Start believing that you are capable of making your dreams a reality. If you feel small and weak, don’t worry. Your belief should not lie in your own strength but in God’s power working in you. As you believe, you will receive direction, guidance, peace and ultimately the realization of your dreams.

3) Be dynamic and different! Realize that making a decision to do your dreams automatically puts you in a minority. Like it or not, you are different! Most people live a “settle for” life but you have chosen excellence. Therefore, you can expect to receive some flak. Being dynamic in your attitude and vision helps you rise above the norm. It is the key to keeping you “up” in a “down” world.

So take control of your life and dreams today and you will be well on your way to making all of your most passionate dreams real!

Procrastination: Hypnosis Can Help You Overcome It

Monday, January 19th, 2009

I recently saw a t-shirt with the following saying: “Procrastinate later.” I had a great laugh. However, procrastination is really not that funny.

The Effects of Procrastination

Just what is procrastination? It is the habit of putting things off until the last possible minute. Procrastination in and of itself is not a problem – the consequences of procrastination, however, can be devastating.

If you are a procrastinator, you have likely:

  • Missed opportunities
  • Worked late hours at work trying to get finished at the last moment
  • Felt completely stressed out
  • Been overwhelmed
  • Suffered feelings of guilt and resentment

Procrastination is a killer – a killer of dreams, ambitions, and achievement.

The Effects of Hypnosis

There is truly no need to continue on the procrastination cycle of wait, wait, wait, stress out, and wait some more. You can overcome procrastination. How? Through the power of hypnosis.

Hypnosis is not some hocus pocus form of psychotherapy – it is simply a natural occurring state of mind that bypasses the conscious part of the mind. When the conscious is bypassed, we don’t pass judgment on what is being suggested.

Believe it or not, we are in a hypnotic state quite often. For instance, here are some times when you have “turned off” the judgment portion of your mind:

  • When you see a commercial on TV that influences you to buy a product
  • When an expert tells you something and you don’t question the validity of that statement
  • Children do it when they are pretending.

By going around the judgment portion of the mind, suggestions can be put into your subconscious and get you to head towards a particular goal – just the way advertisers propel you towards their product.

Your Conscious Mind Resists Overcoming Procrastination

Have you ever tried to stop procrastinating?

What happens? If you are like most people, you tell yourself something and your judgmental mind finds all kinds of reasons why it won’t work!

For instance, one of the main self-help suggestions for overcoming procrastination is to break the overall task into smaller, more doable chunks. This sounds great.

Now try putting that through your conscious, judgmental filter. Here are some of the things you are likely to “hear”:

  • “Just what I need – more things to get done that I can’t get done.”
  • “If I can’t finish one big thing, what makes me think I can finish many small things?”
  • “Who cares if you break it down? You still won’t start it until it is due!”

And this kind of self-talk from your judgmental conscious mind is what you can expect whenever you try to overcome procrastination. So, what can you do?

One way to overcome procrastination is with hypnosis.

Put An End to Procrastination With Hypnosis

Hypnosis can help you overcome procrastination forever. How? By detouring around your conscious mind!

Procrastination is nothing more than a bad habit. Your conscious mind doesn’t like change and will “talk” you right out of changing. However, if you can get those suggestions into your subconscious mind without the judgmental filter, you can change from being a procrastination to being an achiever.

Hypnosis is stronger than willpower because it puts the suggestions straight into your subconscious, the way advertisers do. By the time the suggestions reach your conscious mind, they will have already been accepted by your subconscious – so no more defeating self talk to contend with!

Best of all, your changed status from procrastinator to achiever means that you will achieve your goals and still have time left over. Instead of using up all your spare time with worry and guilt and frustration, you can use your spare time for enjoyment and relaxation!

Hypnosis is an effective and lasting way to overcome procrastination. Use your willpower on procrastination one last time and get your hands on a hypnosis program today!

The Law of Attraction – Make it Work for You

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

The Law of Attraction responds to whatever vibration you are sending out into the Universe. You will receive more of what you are vibrating whether it is desired or not. This law does not decide whether what it is returning is good for you or not, it simply responds to your vibration.

This morning I got up early because we received more snow last night and I decided to take advantage of the crisp air and opportunity to be alone for a while. I bundled up and headed out with my snow scraper in hand.

While shoveling, I thought about what has transpired in my life this year … where I was 12 months ago, where I am now, and where I want to be in a year.

Earlier this year, I put an intention into the Universe to guide me to my divine purpose. There was something missing that I needed in order to feel complete.

After handing my intention over, I started to visualize myself being surrounded by warm, caring people dedicated to helping me achieve success and sense of purpose, and reminded myself daily to remain open to any opportunity that might present itself.

Each day I woke up “knowing” that my answer would come, and with this knowing, I felt a sense of calmness. I was more relaxed. I smiled more and did not hesitate to speak to strangers and offer them a hand when needed.

I kept my mind open, listened more closely and focused more on giving than on receiving.

The Universe responded in kind.

Many generous, loving people were drawn into my life and together we have shared in a wonderful journey of self-growth, enlightenment and amazing successes.

During the past month, I became caught up in the daily stresses of work. I started thinking, there is never enough time, there is too much to do, I’m all on my own … and on and on …

I adopted the mindset that I was going down and became focused on struggling and racing time. My negative vibration started attracting more of the same and the disparaging results started snowballing.

I created an undesirable cycle of events.

One of the greatest gifts we have is the ability to choose our thoughts, and thankfully, in the middle of the crisp, cool winter air, I realized that I was creating this reality with my negative thinking.

The Universe was merely giving me back what I was sending out.

After shoveling, I decided I must change course to attract desired events in my life. I chose not to focus on work’s daily demands but on life and those who mean the most to me.

I spent the remainder of my day decorating the Christmas tree with my stepson then taking him out for lunch. I gave him my undivided attention and let him know he is important.

I returned to my true purpose. Focusing on others and helping them see their worth in this world.

It is important to remember that you have the power to create your reality and this is managed through your thoughts.

If you are thinking about a lack of something, you will attract more of this. If you are thinking about something you love, you will attract more of what you love and enjoy.

Be aware of what is coming into your life and if it isn’t what you want, review your thought processes and make changes. You have the power.

What Is SEO Hosting All about?

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

What do people mean by “SEO Web Hosting”? One major SEO technique is to build the number of links back to your site. This often done by building feeder website, or blogs on other websites. There is typically concern that the major search engines discount links that come from the same IP Address. Put simply, an IP Address is a unique identify number for each website. A typical address might look like this: 216.54.99.123 (four numbers that each range from 0 to 255). In techie terms, each of the four numbers is sometimes called an “octet”. Your web hosting company assigns a unique IP address to your website when you set it up. But when you have many accounts at the same hosting company, the first part of your IP address is often the same, for example: 202.54.97.1, 202.54.97.100, and 202.54.97.200. You can to make sure the first two or three numbers in the IP address are different. You don’t need to fully understand all the technical details about Class-C IP address. You just need to make sure that your links DO come from DIFFERENT Class-C addresses. You want them to look like they are coming from different independent websites, owned by different people, even in different parts of the world. Some internet marketers put all their important websites on different hosting companies. This is typically too expensive, especially if they pay for web sites individually, plus, it is a big pain to track where everything is hosted. Some marketers “stack” their websites into “hubs”, or “rings”, where each site in the “hub” has a different Class-C address. If your building your internet empire, you will almost always get reseller hosting accounts (instead of one website at a time). With WHM (Web Host Manaager), you can typically set up dozens (if not hundreds) of domains on your reseller account (limited only by your disk space and bandwidth). As a reseller, you get a reseller userid/password to operate WHM. When you create a website, it gets its own userid/password for operating CPanel. One expensive alternative is SEOHosting.com. For about $5 to $7/month, you can easily put every website on a totally unique class-C IP address. That company provides WHM and CPanel as normal with unix-based hosting for PHP and MySQL. A more afforable solution is the website in our resource box below. You simply get a reseller account. When you use their custom control panel, you can assign your website to one of 10 different locations spread around the world – and yes – each one has a different CLass-C IP Address. What is Motivation Really?

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

Motivation is actually the drive to do something, mostly to be productive and to finish whatever task it is that is assigned to you. However, motivation isnt just a word, it isnt just a definition. It is something that can b achieved with will power, and few other steps.

Motivation isnt simply deciding on doing something and then starting it. The right motivation is something that doesnt harm anyone and something that drives you from start to finish and a long time after it.

Everyone has their share of slumps and bad days, and these are normal, however hard it is to get properly motivated after a failure, it is still the only way to get back o track. So what is motivation? It is a series of steps that you take so that youll get back your old drive and maybe something even more.

Start!

As the song said, Lets start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. First youve got to realize that you do lack motivation, and you should take action. Stop thinking and start moving, either get yourself prepped or get yourself pumped. The fact that youre reading this probably means that youve already started the action, and thats very good.

Learn to Act A lesson in one of the Dale Carnegie Training plans state that if you act enthusiastic [youll] be enthusiastic. Tell yourself youre excited, be pumped, even if its just in your mind. If jumping for joy, eve if your not very happy, about a new tasks gets your blood pumped then do it.

It doesnt matter how big as long as you get it done Start with something small, something easily achievable and then build up confidence. Its just like those computer games where you start at low levels with small rewards, and as you go up every level, you get bigger rewards and bigger challenges. Build up your confidence and then proceed to more challenging activities.

Try to beat the game When you start a game, you enter with the goal to finish it, you dont play a game thinking, ok, if I get to level 11 then Im satisfied, no you aim to beat the game. Thats how it should be in life, you start small but think big, knowing where you want to go will serve as your guide.

Set your Goals and your limitations Thinking big is good, but thinking too big will be suicidal. Going back to the game example, its good to want to beat the game in easy level but wanting to beat the game using a difficult setting when you havent event done the easy setting yet would be very difficult indeed. Goals are good when they are achievable.

Dont be afraid to ask for help Remember the game super Mario Brothers? Its a really hard game, but then when you get a friend to play with you using the two player setting, it a lot easier to dodge the bullets and to beat Koopa. This should be the same with getting motivated. Youll also need motivators to help you. There will be times when youd want to just give up, and its good to have a few back ups to get you back on track when you do.

Have a Plan set Have a timeline, a set of short term goals, like finish level 2 by the end of day two or get this equipment before the third trimester. Put your effort into every day of work, be consistent and follow your schedule.

Give yourself a reward once in a while It all boils down to what you get when you finish. And basically, the reward system has worked for animals in training and naughty children, so why shouldnt it work for you? Reward yourself for a job well done so that youll get motivated to be motivated each day. And if worse comes to worst, make the reward your motivation to be motivated.

Basically, once you do these steps, your slump should be but a distant memory, all you need to do is to make it a habit. When you trip and fall, your feet dont fall off, they stay, a little bruised and scratched but still usable, all it needs is a little effort to stand back up again.

Don’t Think Objections Are Necessarily Bad.

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

Begin by examining the positive aspects of a prospect’s objections to see them as challenges. Any salesperson who wants a job without difficult questions should go to the stadium and sell hot dogs! The point is, without the challenges of selling, you would simply be an order-taker, and sales is certainly not that!

In terms of personal satisfaction, the number of objections you meet on a daily basis in your particular marketplace tends to indicate the amount of money and prestige that is assigned to your particular position. In general, people are rewarded for the amount of difficulty that goes with what they do. Going back to the ball park example, common knowledge tells us that those who sell hot dogs at ballgames definitely do not generate as much income as those who encounter objections regularly in their sales positions. Where would you prefer to be on the financial ladder? Would you rather be on top, facing numerous objections throughout your sales day, or on the bottom, facing no objections or adversity but making no money?

You should be optimistic when you are faced with an objection or tough question. You should see this objection as an indicator that you are moving in some sort of direction: either successfully completing the sale or failing to make the sale. In either case you know where you are and what you need to do in order to move ahead, take corrective action, or break off the relationship. When a prospect voices his or her concern over a certain aspect of your product or service, a chance has arisen for you to redirect your sales presentation. You now have the chance to move away from things that the prospect sees as undesirable in favor of moving towards those things that the prospect wants from you, your organization, or your product or service. Unless the prospect’s objections completely blow away your product’s benefits, you still have the opportunity to save the sale.

Objections also give you the opportunity to hone your sales skills. The more objections that you face and successfully conquer, the better salesperson you become. As you start to notice patterns in the ways prospects present their objections as well as the consistent themes in these objections, you will be able to almost predict what kinds of objections your prospects will present. You’ll learn how to ask questions that help you flush them out or even eliminate them. Knowledge leads to improvement, so knowledge involving the ways you deal with prospects’ objections can only lead to improvement in your sales record, and, in turn, improvement in your income.

While objections obviously present salespeople with barriers to actually finalizing transactions, viewing these objections and tough questions in a positive light can only help you make more sales. Objections can be seen as challenging aspects of your sales job and mastering objections can lead to an improvement in your sales performance as well as your income. Objections may also be seen as a guide that points you in the right direction toward closing the sale. Finally, these questions and objections help the salesperson become skilled in dealing with objections. Remember, “Practice does make Perfect,” and the case of conquering objections is no different.

The 5 Hidden Dangers In Toothpaste

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

A Must Read if You Have Children!

Would you allow your family to brush their teeth with engine degreaser or rat poison? The fact is, they probably are and you don’t even know it.

Dental hygiene products that you and your children use every day may contain toxins that have been linked to cancer, blindness, and even death. Have you checked out the ingredients in your toothpaste or mouthwash lately?

Many name-brand toothpastes and mouthwashes contain potentially harmful ingredients, which are made up of very small molecules that may penetrate through the tissue of your mouth, enter the blood stream, and build up in the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, and tissues.
Did you ever wonder why manufacturers are required to put the following warning label on toothpastes?

Just read the label on any major brand toothpaste or mouthwash. You’ll see they are loaded with dangerous toxins and chemicals such as sodium fluoride, triclosan, FD&C Blue Dye #1 and 2, sodium lauryl sulfate, and hydrated silica. All of these common ingredients have been found to be harmful to humans. (From the Safe Shoppers Bible)

In children and youth, minimal ingestion of sodium fluoride causes salivation, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, and diarrhea. Large doses of the carcinogen may cause paralysis, muscular weakness and clonic convulsions, followed by respiratory and cardiac failure. (From “Commercial Toothpaste – Natural or Poison?”)

It’s no wonder that fluoride can cause death in humans! In addition to being one of the main ingredients in toothpaste as well as rat and cockroach poisons, sodium fluoride is also a key component in anesthetic, hypnotic, and psychiatric drugs and SARIN NERVE GAS! (From “Neurotoxicity of Sodium Fluoride in Rats” & “Dental Conditions in Workers Chronically Exposed to Dilute and Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid”)

Health risks from chemicals and toxins in oral hygiene products are the most avoidable of all the health risks we face. You don’t have to be a biochemist to get these risks out of your life. It’s as simple as changing brands. To read all the hidden dangers in toothpaste go to: http://hiddendangers.here.ws.

How To Overcome FEAR

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Dr. Joe Vitale’s new book comes out this week.
Here’s a brand new article he wrote, which he is giving you as a

“How to Overcome Fear”
by Dr. Joe Vitale, Author
The Attractor Factor – www.AttractorFactor.com

I’m in Chicago attending a Dan Kennedy event. At the first break
a young man stops me, saying he is one of my subscribers and a
big fan. I’m flattered. We talk. During the brief conversation,
he confesses that fear is what stops him from achieving anything.

Interesting. Just that very morning I had breakfast with Paul
Hartunian, famous publicity expert, when he told me, “There is no
such thing as fear.”

“There isn’t?” I asked Paul.

“No. You are born with only two fears,” Paul explained. “The fear
of loud noises and the fear of falling. You lose those early on.
Any other fears are created by you. They aren’t real.” “How do
you get rid of fear?”

“Stop it.”

“Stop it?”

“Just stop it,” Paul said. “Say you have a fear of bridges. If I
put one million dollars in cash on the other side and said you
could have it if you walked across the bridge, nude, in front of
a crowd of people, you’d do it. Why? Because the reward is
greater than the pain. Make the rewards greater and the fears
will vanish.”

I told the young man before me the same thing.

I then went on to add that most people in business have a fear of
success, or a fear of failure. “I was just in a seminar with Ted
Nicholas,” I went on. “Ted said he had failed many times, and
what he learned is that nothing bad ever happens to you when you
fail. Instead, you get life’s greatest lessons.”

Of course, Ted is known as the four billion dollar man because he
is now a legend in direct marketing. “As for the fear of
success,” I told my new friend in Chicago, “what I’ve learned is
that the more successful I am, the more I can help myself, my
family, and the world.” In the last week alone I had made
contributions to a new children’s foundation dedicated to helping
babies suffering from a stroke at birth, and I made donations to
Paul Hartunian’s dog rescue work.

“Success enables me to help myself as well as everyone else,” I
said. “When you realize the good you can do as a success, the
fear evaporates.” I saw a light come on in the eyes of the fellow
before me. He seemed to get it. He seemed to realize that fear
was stopping him, but that he was the one creating it, so he
could be the one to let it go. As Dan Kennedy said in
Chicago, “There is no limit to the money available. The pie is
infinite. It’s up to you to go scoop it up.” Fear? Stop it.

You’ve got a life to live, and people to help. Go for it.

7 Healthy Habits

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Copyright 2005 strength-training-woman.com

There has never been a better time to take stock of your life than right now. This moment is the beginning of the New Year. It is the beginning of resolutions to lose fat and get fit. However, 2006 promises to be another year that we grow fatter and unhealthier. Use these 7 healthy habits to go against the tide and create a vibrant year.

Habit 1- Eat Regularly. Eat small meals every 3-4 hours. Skipping meals can lead to unstable blood sugar levels which can cause fatigue or restlessness. Eating throughout the day causes stable moods and a healthier metabolism.

Habit 2- Eat Lightly. Each meal should contain a complex carbohydrate and a lean protein. Keep high fat foods or salty snacks out of the pantry. Once sugar and salt are kept to a minimum, the body begins to heal and crave fresh, healthy foods.

Habit 3- Do Not Smoke. There is not one positive fact on smoking. Cigarettes cause the human body to deteriorate at ridiculous levels. Quitting smoking is the number one way to improve health drastically. Also be aware of second hand smoke. It can be just as harmful.

Habit 4- Consume Alcohol in Moderation. A bottle of beer or glass of wine each day is realistic. However, drinking more than three servings daily is a bit much and puts the body at risk. Moderation is certainly important.

Habit 5- Sleep 7-9 Hours Each Night. Deep, peaceful sleep rejuvenates the body. It relaxes the mind and replenishes the soul. Irregular sleeping patterns can lead to mood swings and poor nutrition. The trick is to receive 7-9 hours of sleep each night as opposed to a few nights out of the week.

Habit 6- Exercise Regularly. Get active and promote health and fitness by participating in a fitness program. Combine cardio, strength training and stretching for a balanced approach. Learning how to strengthen the body will improve mood and sleep patterns.

Habit 7- Consult With the Professionals. Tackling each of the above habits can be a nightmare. That is why habit 7 is the most important habit of all. Consulting with a nutritionist or personal trainer can be motivating as well as insightful. The best way to trim the fat and get in shape is to follow the advice of industry professionals.

2006 does not have to be the same as last year. The promise of a better life is in reach. Fueling the body with healthy habits will create a happier and healthier world. Eat regularly and lightly, do not smoke or drink a lot of alcohol, sleep and exercise consistently and ask your personal trainer or nutritionist the best way to stay fit.

A Step-by-Step Guide: How to Melt the Fat & Gain a Life is a viable alternative for those without the income or desire to meet with a trainer or nutritionist. This interactive guide comes complete with over 200 exercise photos, over 160 daily meal by meal menus, over 60 secrets to motivation and tons more. It provides a jump start for weight loss seekers and those looking to get healthy and fit in 2006.

Buy Discount Sportswear Items on the World Wide Web

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Sporting equipment has a huge industry today on account of how massive an effect sports has on the planet. People get sports goods of all sorts including sporting outfits, team clothes & sportswear kit. The best way to slim down where to look for your sports kit is to select what you are wanting

The Web is the most ideal place to find the sports equipment you desire. You can come across a great deal of first-class sporting retail outlets online that retail anything & everything associated to sports. Even though you do have to pay for transport and wait for your equipment to be dispatch to you, the options you will have will be far superior than those in the proper shops.

So where do you even embark on looking you may well say. If you want sportswear goods, there are many nationwide sportswear outlets that sell a selection of sports goods. These sports stores are ideal as you can find equipment for all sports in one place as well as shoes sports clothes, outdoor clothes & golfing goods. Find superb deals on online sports equipment.

The downside to purchasing sports gear at a bricks and mortar outlet like these is that you might not obtain the finest quality stuff on the market presently. Of course you can obtain quality equipment, just not always the top of the line. In order to find the top of the line sports goods you will have to go to a retail store that specifically sells what you are seeking. If you fancy football supplies, then visit a retail outlet that specialises on football. If you need an exact baseball bat, going to a baseball only retail shop will provide you a greater possibility of discovering it.

Another type of sporting item that brings in lots of income is team sports items. The ideal way to prove you passion for your beloved football team or golf team is to buy their attire. Whether you desire a team’s hat or a favourite athlete’s jersey, there is a choice of retail outlets on the World Wide Web and high street stores you can try to buy what you are looking for.
